Rien du contenu de la cérémonie d’ouverture n'était censé filtrer avant le jour J. Le tabloïd anglais The Sun a pourtant réussi à dégoter la sélection des chansons jouées pendant le grand show qui marquera le coup d'envoi officiel des Jeux. Voici la playlist de la cérémonie d'ouverture des JO.
Envie de revivre un peu la cérémonie d'ouvrture. Voici donc la playlist complète qui comporte 86 titres. Du punk au rap en passant par la pop, tous les morceaux joués pendant la cérémonie d'ouverture retraceront chacun à leur manière un siècle de musique britannique. Parmi les chansons sélectionnées, les amateurs de musique seront particulièrement ravis de revivre quelques grands classiques style « She Loves You » des Beattles, « London Calling » de The Clash ou le tellement légendaire « Satisfaction » des Rolling Stones.
Que les vingtenaires se rassurent, la nouvelle génération ne sera pas en reste : Adele, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse et Tinie Tempah la valeur montante du hip-hop britannique, sont eux aussi prévus dans la prog'.
Si Muse, Sex Pistols, Arctic Monkeys et Led Zeppelin auront également au moins un extrait de morceau joué pendant le spectacle, pas de trace en revanche d’Elton John, de Tom Jones, de Phil Collins ou de l'éphémère phénomène girlsband, Spice Girls.
