Un biker sauve un chaton et l'emmène en voyage

Pat Doody, un biker de 32 ans, a sauvé un chaton d’une mort certaine et l’a adopté. Depuis, ils écument les routes ensemble.

 

Alors qu’il était sur la route entre la Californie et le Nevada, Pat Doody s’était arrêté dans le New Jersey pour prendre de l’essence. C’est là qu’il a découvert le chaton, qu'il a baptisé "Party Cat". "Il était sévèrement brûlé, du coup je l’ai attrapé et mis dans mon blouson. On le nourrit régulièrement, donc il va beaucoup mieux maintenant, même s’il vit sur les routes jusqu’à ce qu’on retourne à la maison", expliquait-il à Revzilla.

We were both silent as the voice called out again, "Out of the water, now!". As it turned out, this quarry had swimming hours with a posted lifeguard and outside of those hours security guards patrolled the premises pulling people out of the water. We shouted apologies and crawled out of the water onto the muddy banks of the quarry. The sun was setting behind us as we dried off and got dressed. Walking down through the woods to meet up with the rest of the @lowbrowcustoms crowd we got to talking to a dude named Pat. Pat's sunburnt skin was caked with a layer of road grime as he had been on the road for a few weeks riding back from Born Free. On his shoulder, perched like a parrot on a pirate, sat a small orange ball of fluff. Part 3 of 5: The Lowbrow Getdown on an Indian Scout - "Party Cat Continued" As it turns out, Pat had found "Party Cat" at a truck stop in Nevada. "He was pretty badly burned and needed help," Pat told us. Pat and his buddies have been nursing him back to health and "Party Cat" seemed to be enjoying the ride. Kids spent the night running up to Pat asking to pet "Party Cat". Pat obliged all of them. The juxtapose of grizzled, tattooed biker dudes with beers in hand surrounded by little kids with a kitten at the center of it all was fantastic. Everyone was smiling and laughing and having a good time. The motorcycle community never ceases to amaze me. We are all in pretty good company. As the night wore on we would occasionally catch a glimpse of Pat walking through the crowd, "Party Cat" sitting calmly on his shoulder. Depuis son sauvetage, le petit chat a vu un vétérinaire et semble apprécier sa nouvelle vie. "Il est tellement détendu. Il reste dans ma veste quand nous sommes sur la route. Je n’avais jamais vu de chat aussi calme", a raconté Pat Doody.
